Why is important to be top 3 on Google

When it comes to Google search 90% of it in the search engine market share is held by Google. Then going further down the top spot (#1) gets 36.4% of clicks compared to 2.2% for the 10th result.
So with keeping this in mind the higher up you are the more clicks you would get in terms of percentage. Wouldn't it be nice if you were the top spot and and can get up to 36% of clicks. Think about all the traffic that would be coming through your website, and if you weren't doing this all the money you would be leaving on the table. You probably wouldn't believe your eyes to see the benefits of the top 3 in Google.
