Too much research

It's easy to find yourself doing an endless amount of research in order to feel ready to do the work, but most of the time it's an easy excuse not to do the work.
Just think about it. Say you are a scientist researching about what might work or what you have to do exactly, and you spend all that time just researching, finding information, but you never actually take any action. Then all that research was pointless, you should have instead, of picked up some equipment and started experimenting so that you know for sure what works and what doesn't work. After quick research if it doesn't work, go back to the drawing board and keep on going.
So whatever you do, do not spend all your time and energy just researching because it can be useful until it becomes an excuse to avoid the work. So make sure to catch yourself next time you are spending hours researching and not putting anything you learn into practice you are wasting your time because nothing will beat raw action and doing trial and error.
So what are you waiting for? Stop making excuses and take action.
