I have found that when it comes to running ads on Google or Meta ads that it doesn't make a massive differences because it serves the same purpose to showing your product or service to the consumers, as both Google and Meta are both every popular platforms and is not short of people to view it.
When it comes to paid ads the most important thing to consider is what is your target audience more likely to consume. Say for example if you are selling kids toy, meta would be a good option because these days lots of kids scroll facebook or instagram so then your product would be seen. When maybe a car would be good for google ads because mostly people that drive cars use laptop or phone to look at Google.
The thing about this is that it can be used both ways so actually the best apporach is to expertiment with both see what gets you the better results and use that. There is no ideal or perfect time to use either Google or Meta both work the same and only really matters with your target audience.
Remember it isn't as simple as putting up an ad and calling it a day. Make sure to
anaylsis the performance of your ads and switch out any ads that are not working after 7-10 days.
